Give Back Mondays - January is for Animals!

 |

Wick's is continually helping the community in which we live, but in 2016, we REALLY want to show it.  Once a month, we will be giving 10% of the entire day's sales to a LOCAL not-for-profit operating in our community.  To kick things off, EVERY MONDAY IN JANUARY, we will be donating 10% of sales to something near and dear to our hearts - ANIMALS!  All you have to do is dine like normal - dine in, delivery or carry out.  No limits, just eat and drink and your money will be working doubletime for a great cause!

January 4th's donation will go to No Kill Louisville, a 501c3, non-profit charity that operates specialized programs in order to prevent unnecessary shelter killing and to improve animal welfare.  No Kill Louisville envisions our community as a place where no adoptable pet or feral cat is killed, regardless of resources, economics, or politics.   Get involved at: nokill-louisville.com

January 11th's donation will go to Hand-In-Paw Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue dedicated to saving pregnant dogs, nursing moms and her babies and orphaned pups from local shelters in Jefferson County and surrounding counties.  Our goal is to stop the cycle of unwanted litters and to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering.  Get involved at: handinpawrescue.org

January 18th's donation will go to The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS), a private, nonprofit organization, located in Louisville, that is Kentucky's largest pet adoption agency and largest no-kill animal shelter and advocates the humane treatment of companion animals through leadership and proactive solutions to pet overpopulation, including adoptions, education and spay/neuter efforts.  Get involved at: http://kyhumane.org/

January 25th's donation will go to My Dog Eats First, a local grassroots nonprofit organization that provides pet food, pet supplies, basic veterinary care (vaccinations) and free spay/neuter services to the homeless and underserved with pets in Louisville, KY.
